National Action Network Western Regional Director
Rev. Jonathan E. D. Moseley, Sr. serves as Western Regional Director which includes; California, Nevada, Arizona, and Oregon chapters.
A native of Los Angeles, Rev. Moseley worked in the music and sports industries. Later he founded a music consulting firm and went on to become a national evangelist and community organizer.
Before assuming the role of Interim-President in October of 2019, Rev. Moseley served as Vice President and liaison to the local union, community, and religious organizations. He championed initiatives and reform in areas of education, health inequality, police brutality, homelessness, and climate change as a national evangelist and community organizer.
NAN|LA Chapter – President
Rev. Nathaniel W. Martin serves as President of the Los Angeles chapter of NAN. A native of Houston, TX, Rev Martin relocated to Los Angeles, after serving in the Vietnam War as a U.S. Marine.
A staunch social activist, Rev. Martin believes that truth, justice, and empowerment is the foundation of a successful society. He hosts a radio show on KTYM called “It’s Time.” The show discusses the historical and complex aspects of reparations and the minority in America. Rev. Martin also advocates for initiatives around fostering generational wealth and entrepreneurship in inner-city communities.
Joining NAN Los Angeles in 2012 upon the death of Trayvon Martin, Rev. Martin quickly advanced to his current post. When feverishly not working on policy or in media, he is the Pastor of The New Life Institutional Baptist Church where he has served since 1973.
NAN|LA Chapter & Western Region Policy Director
Rasheda Kilpatrick is a native of North Minneapolis, MN. She is a graduate of North Carolina A&T State University (“Aggie Pride!”) and originally came to Los Angeles to attend UCLA School of Law where she served as Co-Chair of the Black Law Students Association. Her experience in law school helped to further her passion for serving the community. Since graduating from law school she has served as the chair of the Civic Engagement and Political Awareness committee for the Los Angeles Urban League Young Professionals. She has also held double duty on the board of the Black Women Lawyers Association serving as the historian and the chair of the police accountability and community awareness committee. She is currently serving as the Policy Director of National Action Network- Los Angeles
NAN|LA Chapter Treasurer
LaMont Perry has held a passion for social justice and activism since his youth. Perry joined National Action Network | LA in 2016 when his cousin was tragically gunned down and killed by an LAPD officer. Though he leads a very business life in promotions, Perry felt compelled to bring his background and experience in engagement to the social justice community. Since joining committing his life work to this cause, he has quickly moved up the ranks to the current position he holds as treasurer. Perry’s key values are honesty, integrity, and transparency, and he is dedicated to finding creative ways to maximize resources to have the greatest impact.
