Don’t dump… get it picked up!

During this time of #SaferAtHome, many people are tackling home cleaning projects, resulting in lots of big items being discarded.

Did you know LA Sanitation and Environment will collect those items for free? Simply call 3-1-1 from any LA area mobile phone or land line, or download the free MyLA311 iPhone/Android app and select Bulky Item Pickup from the menu of services, and the City will collect your old appliances, furniture, or other large items. Pickups in most LA neighborhoods happen weekly.

Some Angelenos still don’t know about this free City service, so if you see large items abandoned curbside in front of someone else’s home, you can request pickup for those items, too, via 3-1-1.
